For 2024, the competition is being revamped to test competitors on a broader range of skills within each practical station and give our young landscapers from across the industry the chance to showcase their abilities through interpretation of scopes and application of knowledge.
As we eagerly anticipate celebrating the Young Landscaper of the Year (YLOY) weekend in 2024, we also look ahead to our future. A key part of this is our AGM;
The Registered Master Landscapers (RML) is introducing the Landscape Legacy Awards to honour exceptional contributions to the Association over the past 50 years. These new awards will include past Life Members and Distinguished Service Award recipients, as well as new honourees.
As May approaches, we're gearing up for our regional meetups nationwide. It's an opportunity to reconnect with fellow professionals in the landscaping industry.

The judges look for the highest standards within the landscape projects submitted, whether the focus is on construction, design, planting or maintenance. Innovative approaches, unusual solutions to overcoming a problem and exceptional level of craft skills are all highly valued.
