Our Association

Our Association

Previously known as Landscaping New Zealand (LIANZ), Registered Master Landscapers has officially represented the New Zealand landscaping industry since 1985.

Our change of name reflects the professional standards of work by our members. With branches across New Zealand, the association is actively recruiting members based on an assessment of their standard of work.

Members of Registered Master Landscapers are bound by our code of conduct, ensuring professional business practices are carried out at all times.

Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct stresses the importance of Registered Master Landscapers members carrying out professional business practices. It requires compliance with current safety standards, the maintenance of appropriate insurance cover and delivery of appropriate contract documentation. Above all, it demands integrity from members in all business practices. A complaints procedure exists in the event of any dispute with a member.

Conferences

Registered Master Landscapers annual conference offers leading industry-focused learning opportunities to assist with the on-going professional development of our members.

Our annual Conference provides unique opportunities to hear case studies on current trends and best practices in landscape business practice.  Identify lucrative business opportunities and establish valuable industry partnerships.

Awards

Registered Master Landscapers celebrates and awards excellence in the landscaping industry through its biennial Landscapes of Distinction Awards programme. This event highlights projects our members have been involved in where the quality of work has been outstanding.

Registered Master Landscapers also encourages the next generation of landscaping professionals through its annual Young Landscaper of the Year competition.
