How to Enter
To help set up of your online entry. Please refer to the notes on this page before you register. This page contains important information on entry fees and how to complete your entry.
Register Online
- Registering to enter the Awards is quick and easy. Once registered, you will be emailed a link to start your online application.
- When you start your online entry, the form can be saved and returned to at any stage prior to the close date (12:00 noon on Monday 14th December 2020).
Entry Fee
Early Bird Special SAVE 10%
Submit your entries before midnight 30 September 2020 and get 10% discount on published prices
- $250+gst per category for Accredited Members
- $500+gst per category for Non-Members (To find out more about how you can become a member, click on the Membership tab above).
Note: Payment by credit card must be made online when you submit your completed entry. Please make sure you have these details to hand when you are ready to submit your entry. If your submissions have not been paid for at close of entry they may not be included for judging.
Online Entry Form
- Make sure to complete all the questions required. When requested to upload information, clearly name the attachment so that judges can easily identify what component of the submission the attachment relates to. TIP On the attachment tab, you will be given a drop-down list of already created names to help with naming your uploads, Use these names where applicable.
- To assist with promotional opportunities you will be asked on the application form to submit 6 x hi res images of the project. These photos should show the project from various aspects including detail of the planting and construction. Submit the photos under the name of the project ie "Sawyers Bay Residence image 1, Sawyers Bay Residence image 2". Where the photo has been taken by a professional photographer, include name credit ie "Sawyers Bay Residence - Joe Brown Photography Ltd
- A client release form is included in the application form as a download. Make sure this form is signed and uploaded as your submission cannot proceed until he/she has confirmed approval of photo use
- We may contact you requesting you to update details if necessary, to make sure your documentation is correct
Multiple Entries
An entrant may submit as many entries as desired.
To enter multiple categories, once registered, simply go to "My Entries" copy your submission and choose a new category.
Conditions of Entry
- The entry deadline (5:00 pm on 30 November 2020) is final and there will be no extensions provided. The system will automatically prevent entry submission after the deadline.
- All submitted projects must be located within the North and South Island of New Zealand.
- Registered Master Landscapers retains the right to use the images/ video provided by the award entrants for promotional purposes.
- In each category, entries will be judged for gold, silver, bronze. Each project is judged on its own merit. There is no restriction on the number of medals awarded in each category.
- Judges reserve the right to visit projects entered into the Awards. Where a site visit is required. Registered Master Landscapers will give the entrant a minimum of 1 weeks notice.
- Premier winners are judged as the overall winner of a category. Entry to Premier Awards is open to Registered Master Landscape Members only.
- The winning entry of the Supreme Award "Landscape of the Year", will be based on a built garden project. Entry to the Supreme Award is open to Registered Master Landscape Members only.
- The judges' decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Industry partners have no influence over the judging process.
